BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021- 0 1 <br />RESOLUTION TO REJECT BID <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County went out to bid for a contractor to provide services for a <br />project involving the Colockum Building Demolition and new Wash Rack; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County received seven bids for the demolition of the Colockum <br />Building and Wash Rack; and <br />WHEREAS: The apparent low bidder submitted flawed bid documents; and <br />WHEREAS: The flawed documents made the bid non-responsive; and <br />WHEREAS: the next bidder had completed the bid form appropriately; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: Kittitas County is rejecting the apparent <br />low bid received and will be awarding to the second bidder. <br />DATED THIS J day of May, 2021 <br />ATTEST: <br />BOARD OF COUNTY C ISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUN , W TON <br />- Chairman <br />L acz -Vice Chairman <br />Cory Wright - Commissioner <br />
