KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SOLID WASTE AND MAINTENANCE MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />TUESDAY 1 2:00 PM Ma y 11, 2021 <br />Board members present Brett Wachsmith, Chairman, Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman and <br />Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others: Erica Loynd -DLR Group, Justin Stranzi-DLR Group, Lori Coppenrath-DLR Group, Patti <br />Stacey -Director, Mandy Buchholz — (Webex Host), Erica Luce, Clerk for the meeting <br />Meeting called to order at 2:00 p.m. <br />Request Board approval and signature on Resolution to reject the apparent low bidder and <br />award bid to the second bidder on the Colockum Building demolition and new wash rack <br />project: Patti requested Board approval and signature. Commissioner Osiadacz moved to <br />approve Resolution 2021-073, Commissioner Wright seconded, motion passes 3-0. <br />Request Chair's signature on Contract with Mass X Construction: Patti requested Board <br />approval and signature. Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve, Commissioner Wright <br />seconded, motion passes 3-0. <br />Request Chair's signature on new Transfer Station Short Plat: Patti requested Chair's <br />signature on the Short Plat paperwork from Cruise and Associates. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />moved to approve, Commissioner Wright seconded, motion passes 3-0. <br />Request Chair's signature on McKinstry Change Order: Patti requested Chair's signature. <br />Discussion was held on the Jail and Courthouse change orders and the age of the building, that <br />every time they open something up to fix, they find something new. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />moved to approve; Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion passes. 3-0. <br />Request Board signature on revised Professional Services Agreement with DLR Group: <br />Patti requested Board approval; Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve; Commissioner <br />Wright seconded. Motion passes 3-0. <br />DLR Group Kick Off Presentation: Introductions were held of the DLR Group and County <br />members present. The DLR Group gave the Board a presentation. Discussion was held on the <br />Kittitas County Courthouse Committee, roles and decision-making process.
