BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTYOF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTIONNO:2021- <br />APPROVING THE 2021 DISTRESSED COUNTY SALES AND USE TAX <br />INFRASTRUCTUREIMPROVEMENTPROGRAMAGREEMENTWITH SNOQUALMIE <br />PASS UTILITY DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS:The 1999 Legislature did pass RCW 82.14.370 Sales and Use Tax for Public <br />Facilities in rural counties;and <br />WHEREAS:These funds may only be used to finance public facilities serving economic <br />development purposes in rural counties and finance personnel in economic <br />development offices in the State of Washington;and <br />WHEREAS:The 2021 Distressed County Sales and Use Tax Infrastructure Improvement Program <br />Agreement with Snoqualmie Pass Utility District has been executed by said entity <br />with funding available January 1,2021;and <br />NOW,THEREFOREBE IT RESOLVED:The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />hereby approves the attached 202 I Distressed County Sales and Use Tax Infrastructure Improvement <br />Program Agreement with Snoqualmie Pass Utility District. <br />ADOPTED this 6th day of July 2021. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITASCOUNTY,WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith,Chairman <br />Attest: <br />O Clerk of the Board-Julie Kjorsvik <br />Laura Osiadacz,Vice-Chairman <br />O Deputy Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright,Commissioner
