06/15/2021 MINUTES 2 <br />MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report on the <br />proposed Kittitas County Recreation and Tourism Plan. He said the <br />official comment period for the proposed Recreation and Tourism Plan <br />had ended on May 7, 2021 and were incorporated in an Appendix to the <br />Public Hearing. He noted there had been a letter received from the <br />Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission and recommended <br />remanding the plan back to Staff to include their comments within <br />the Appendix. <br /> THOSE IN ATTENDANCE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY: BRYAN STOCKDALE spoke in <br />favor of the proposed 2021 Kittitas County Recreation and Tourism <br />Plan. THERE BEING NO OTHERS REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT moved to remand the 2021 Kittitas County <br />Recreation and Tourism Plan, to incorporate comments received from <br />the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission and to bring it <br />back to the Board for formal approval on the July 6, 2021 Agenda. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH seconded.
