6/14/2021 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br />REQUEST IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR I.T. <br /> <br />Jim Goeben, IT Director requested the Board’s approval to fill the <br />Systems Administrator position (Bill Davis) in his department and <br />potentially contract with him during the months the position goes <br />vacant. <br /> <br />The Board approved the request as presented. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> <br />At 9:13 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess <br />into Executive Session with Lisa Young and Patti Stacey for 5 <br />minutes, to discuss that portion of a meeting during which the <br />governing body is planning or adopting the strategy or position to <br />be taken by the governing body during the course of any collective <br />bargaining, professional negotiations, or grievance or mediation <br />proceedings, or reviewing the proposals made in the negotiations or <br />proceedings while in progress. No action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 9:18 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There <br />was no action taken. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. The assignments for 2021 were <br />determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin meeting <br />on 1-11-2021. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />No posts for the week. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually over the past week. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:34 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />
