Action Item 5.6 Support Athletics <br />Designate and preserve appropriate sites and facilitate agreements with user and league organizations to <br />operate basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer, baseball, softball, and other instruction and participatory programs <br />for all age, skill level, and income groups in the County. <br />Action Item 5.7 Promote Cultural Arts <br />Promote development of high quality, diversified cultural arts facilities and programs that increase awareness, <br />attendance, and participation opportunities at parks and properties in Kittitas County. <br />Action Item 5.8 Support Programs <br />Support successful collaborations between Cle Elum-Roslyn, Ellensburg, Kittitas, Thorp, and Damman School <br />Districts, Central Washington University, Yakama Nation, and other public agencies, service groups, schools, <br />arts patrons, and artists that optimally utilize artistic resources and talents at parks and properties in Kittitas <br />County. <br />Action Item 5.9 Incorporate Artworks <br />Where appropriate, incorporate public artworks including paintings, sculptures, exhibits, and other media for <br />indoor and outdoor display to expand resident access and appropriately furnish public places in parks and <br />properties in Kittitas County. <br />L <br />
