05/18/2021 MINUTES 4 <br /> <br />Each Contractor. <br /> RESOLUTION 2021-079 VANTAGE HIGHWAY CRP 298-19 PUBLIC WORKS <br />Approve Resolution No. 2021-079, Authorizing the Chair’s Signature on <br />County Road Administration Board Project Agreement Amendment Number 2, <br />in the amount totaling $2,635,000.00 in Rural Arterial Trust Account <br />funding towards the Vantage Highway Improvement project, CRP 298-19. <br /> SET PUBLIC HEARING PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY PUBLIC WORKS <br />Approve Setting a Public Hearing for June 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. to <br />consider the Purchase of Real Property that lies within Sections 24 and <br />25, Township 17 North, Range 18 East, W.M. and to authorize the Clerk to <br />publish said notice. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE – NONE ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS - NONE <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS – NONE BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS - NONE RESOLUTION 2021-074 DISTRESSED COUNTY SALES & USE TAX PUBLIC WORKS <br />Vice-Chairman Osiadacz moved to Approve Resolution No. 2021-074, <br />Awarding the 2021 Distressed County Sales & Use Tax Funds as Recommended <br />by the Conference of Governments including CenterFuse $72,000.00; <br />Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce $92,000.00; Snoqualmie Pass Public <br />Utility District $300,000.00; City of Cle Elum $450,460,00; and the City <br />of Ellensburg $238,868.00. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried <br />3-0. <br /> MISCELLANEOUS - NONE EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />At 10:25 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess into <br />Executive Session for 15 minutes with Jeanne Killgore, HR Representative <br />and Lisa Young, HR Director, to evaluate the qualifications of an <br />applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public <br />employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140 (4), discussion by a <br />governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of employment to <br />be generally applied within the agency shall occur in a meeting open to <br />the public, and when a governing body elects to take final action <br />hiring, setting the salary of an individual employee or class of <br />employees, or discharging or disciplining an employee, that action shall <br />be taken in a meeting open to the public. No action was anticipated.
