Kittitas County Shoreline Master Program <br />b. There is adequate information available on the area proposed for development to <br />determine the impacts of the proposed development and appropriate mitigating <br />measures; and <br />c. The applicant provides voluntary deed restrictions that are approved by the <br />County. <br />N . Req u lation s-Fish a n d wildli{+Wi ld I ife habi+a$Ha bitat €ensen*a+i€+Co n servation <br />area-Area reportinq and m itioation req ui rements <br />1. Habitat management plan: When a use or development is proposed in or adjacent to <br />a habitat conservation area, the Administrator shall require the applicant to submit a <br />habitat management plan, prepared by a professional wildlife biologist who is <br />knowledgeable of wildlife habitat within Kittitas County, when the following conditions <br />are met: <br />a. A proposed use or development is located within two hundred (200) feet of a <br />known or suspected Fish and wil.d{ib.'Wildlife habitalHabitat eenseryetie+ <br />Conservation areaArea ; and <br />b. There are potential direct and/or indirect impacts on wildlife species or habitat <br />from the proposed use or activity. <br />2. Habitat management plan contents: The habitat management plan shall include a <br />discussion of the potential direct and indirect impacts, as well as a discussion of the <br />ongoing management practices that will protect habitat after the project site has <br />been developed. The habitat management plan will include any relevant information <br />and recommendations from the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife <br />habitat guidelines for the affected species and/or habitat. Based on the <br />characteristics of the site, the Administrator may require that all or a portion of the <br />following be included in a habitat management plan: <br />a. A map drawn to scale or survey showing the location of the fis551gh and wildlife- <br />Wi ld I ife habitalH a b itat eenseryatien-Con servatio n erea-Area on th e su bj ect <br />property, as well as the approximate location of any potential gshgglr and <br />wi ld I ife Wi ld I ife hebitalH a b itat eensen*a{ien-Co n servatio n erea-Area with i n two <br />hundred (200) feet of the subject property; and <br />b. Detailed description of vegetation and habitat characteristics within and adjacent <br />to the site. <br />c. ldentification of any endangered, threatened, sensitive, or candidate species that <br />have a primary association with habitat on the project area, and assessment of <br />potential project impacts to use of the buffer and critical area on the site by the <br />species. <br />d. Methods and measures to avoid, minimize andior compensate for adverse <br />impacts associated with the proposed use and development, including, but not <br />limited to: <br />i.
