The removal of invasive or noxious weeds does not constitute significant vegetation removal. "State master program" means the cumulative total of all shoreline master programs and amendments thereto approved or adopted by rule by the Washington State Department of Ecology. "Type Np water" means streams that have flow year round and may have spatially intermittent dry reaches downstream of perennial flow. "Type Ns water" means stream that do not have surface flow during at least some portion of the year, and do not meet the physical criteria of a Type F water.
