Best management practices for control of erosion and sedimentation shall be <br />implemented for all use and development proposals in shorelines through an <br />approved temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC) plan, identified in the <br />Stormwater Management Manual for Eastern Washington, as amended. <br /> <br />4. On-site sewage systems shall be located, designed and maintained to meet all <br />applicable water quality, utility, and health standards. <br /> <br />5. All building materials that may come in contact with water shall be constructed of <br />untreated wood, cured concrete, or steel. Materials used for decking or other <br />structural components shall be approved by applicable state agencies for contact <br />with water to avoid discharge of pollutants. Wood treated with creosote, arsenate <br />compounds, copper chromium arsenic or pentachlorophenol is prohibited in <br />shoreline water bodies. <br /> <br />6. Permanent stormwater management systems serving property within the shoreline <br />shall be designed using BMP’s ensuring water quality treatment in compliance with <br />the Stormwater Management Manual for Eastern Washington to prevent stormwater <br />runoff from degrading or adding to the pollution of recipient waters or adjacent <br />properties. Maintenance of storm drainage facilities on private property shall be the <br />responsibility of the property owner(s). This responsibility and the provision for <br />maintenance shall be clearly stated on any recorded subdivision, short plat, or <br />binding site plan map, building permit, property conveyance documents, <br />maintenance agreements and /or improvement plans. <br /> <br />
