Exhibit A — Scope of Work <br />Scope of Work <br />Aspect's scope of worK for Phase 1 of work is provided below. Project management activities <br />such as quality control, budget monitoring, invoicing, status reports, and status <br />communications with the City project manager, are included in the task. <br />Task 1: Phase 1 Support Services <br />Aspect will: <br />1.1 Coordinate with the City, County FCZD, and FCZD's flood mapping consultant during <br />Phase 1 work. This may involve meetings, phone calls, teleconferences, and emails. <br />1.2 Review documentation about the existing lower Reecer Creek levee construction <br />standards and estimated freeboard under proposed conditions. Also review recent <br />changes to FEMA's floodplain mapping and levee certification standards. <br />1.3 Obtain and review background data and information from the FCZD's flood mapping <br />consultant to about how the recent draft Reecer Creek floodplain maps were <br />generated. <br />1.4 Coordinate with the City, FCZD, and FEMA regarding levee construction and <br />certification standards, modeling methods, planned improvements; and <br />potential changes and approaches needed to meet FEMA's standards. <br />1.5 Provide the City's levee, bridge, and floodplain swale design information to the FCZD <br />and interact with the FCZD and their consultant regarding updated flood modeling <br />approaches and results. This includes iterative review of updated modeling results <br />and related discussions with the FCZD and their consultant. <br />1.6 Itemize key flood mapping and levee certification issues along with recommended <br />follow-up actions to address them. <br />1.7 Prepare a memorandum describing Aspect's findings and recommendations. <br />1.8 Meet with the City to review and discuss the findings and the need for any follow-up <br />work. <br />Task 1 Deliverables <br />• Phase 1 Reecer Creek Floodplain Mapping and Levee Certification Support <br />Services Memorandum (pdf format), <br />Task 1 � ssui,.%pirko s <br />• City staff are available to help gather data and/or provide GIS products during Phase 7 <br />work. <br />• The amount of work involved in Phase 1 is uncertain, therefore Aspect's work will be <br />conducted on a flexible time and materials basis not to exceed an initial budget of <br />$15, 000 without City approval. Depending on the actual amount of work needed during <br />Phase 9, the budget may need to be supplemented.
