5/03/2021 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br />DISCUSSION AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Director stated that she has been <br />checking the website and there are still no guidelines. She stated <br />that on the Agenda for May 18, 2021, she will have the Board create <br />a new fund for it. Once there are guidelines she will work on a <br />meeting with the Board but felt a similar process as the last time <br />would work well. <br /> <br />FORM DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Osiadacz moved to approve Chair signature on the <br />Department of Revenue Tax & License Clause Confidentiality Agreement <br />for George Long, Kittcom Director. Commissioner Wright seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board questioned if the Board wanted <br />any additional BoCC Staff on the Recruitment Committee’s for the <br />Auditor’s Office Budget & Finance Director position. Commissioner <br />Wright stated he would like to take a step back and discuss what is <br />being recruited for. He stated that Commissioner Osiadacz was gone <br />last week and wanted to see what her thoughts were on how and what <br />the recruitment process is moving forward. Lisa Young, HR Director <br />suggested that a separate meeting take place for the Board to <br />discuss this with Jerry Pettit, Auditor present. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. The assignments for 2021 were <br />determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin meeting <br />on 1-11-2021. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined for the week of May 3, 2021 they would post on <br />their Facebook page about the Restaurant Revitalization Plan thru <br />the American Rescue Plan Act. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually over the past week. <br />
