2019 WORKPLAN <br /> WHAT DOES CENTERFUSE WANT TO ACCOMPLISH IN 2019? <br /> Discussion:the following outline continues the goals of the 2018 work plan, identifies new strategies <br /> and goals, and realigns subcommittees with goals for 2019: <br /> Developing CenterFuse (FutureForce) <br /> Charge: <br /> EBDA Members: Linda Schactler,Jared Vallejo,James Jankowski, Bill Provaznik <br /> Board: <br /> • Board retreat to articulate 2019 goals <br /> • Join IEDC, attend conference and leverage trainings (quarterly training for board members) <br /> • Evaluate Subcommittees,charge, and members <br /> • Reach out to government and quasi-governmental orgs:WEDA, Washington State Commerce, as <br /> well as to trade organizations,such as <br /> Marketing: <br /> • Complete rebranding <br /> o Develop a launch strategy for new brand <br /> o Create limited hard-copy collateral <br /> • Create a search engine strategy for CenterFuse and Ellensburg <br /> • Develop a refreshed, mobile friendly web presence(URL)that includes specific information about <br /> o Business position advantages <br /> o Opportunity Zones <br /> o Quality of Life <br /> o Information specific to targeted industries <br /> Public Outreach <br /> • Council relations: keep council apprised of CenterFuse goals,strategies, and accomplishments. <br /> • Two Daily Record guest columns <br /> Revenues and Finances <br /> • Reapply for Distressed County Sales Tax(.09 funding)for 2020 <br /> • Work with City on funding stream and "reward"system <br /> • Work on Rural USDA grants for Community Economic Development <br /> • Evaluate Private funding/sponsorships (message and deliverables are key) <br /> • Examine and address gaps in rates at Incubator and Airport <br /> Engage in important economic development policy and issues: <br /> • Airport <br /> • Zoning and Development Code <br /> • Housing <br /> Space Analysis and Development (SpaceForce) <br /> � Charge:this group is in charge of looking at the future of the CenterFuse Airport facility and potential <br /> L redevelopment and/or new development of property <br /> [ EBDA Members Other Members <br /> 3 <br />
