4/26/2021 MINUTES 2 <br />DIRECTION JUNE 2, 2021 MEETING LOCATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor requested the Board’s <br />Direction on their meeting with Phil Backlund scheduled for June 2, <br />2021. She stated there was some desire to go off-site but Staff is <br />giving direction to do it onsite because it needs to be <br />recorded/live streamed. She stated that Deputy Happold was in <br />attendance to answer any questions pertaining to OPMA. <br /> <br />The Board gave direction to Staff to host the meeting in the <br />Auditorium. <br /> <br />RATIFY CONGRESSWOMAN SCHRIER COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Osiadacz moved to approve and ratify the Board’s <br />signature on a letter Re: Kittitas County, WA – Transportation <br />Reauthorization Legislation – Member Designated Project Funding <br />Request – I-90 Widening from Easton to Cle Elum to Congresswoman <br />Schrier’s Office, as presented. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION VOTERS PAMPHLET COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Jerry Pettit, Auditor reviewed with the Board recent requirements <br />they learned of with the voters pamphlet administrative rules. He <br />stated that there is a requirement which includes the formation and <br />appointment of two committees with up to 3 members one representing <br />Pro & one representing Con with a selected Chair who will serve as <br />the primary contact for the Auditor’s office. He encouraged the <br />Board to set up a meeting with his office and the County <br />Prosecutor’s Office to allow for a deeper conversation. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. The assignments for 2021 were <br />determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin meeting <br />on 1-11-2021. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined for the week of April 26, 2021 they would post <br />on their Facebook page about seasonal job listings for the County. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br />
