•If,duringanyquarter,KittitasCountySheriff'sOfficeisunabletomeettherequirementsofthegrantitwillsubmitaletter,signedbythepolicechieforsheriff,alongwiththereimbursementrequestexplainingthereasonsandmitigatingcircumstances.Ifrequested,KittitasCountySheriff'sOfficewillsubmitaplanwithin30daysoftheendofthequarterthatdescribesstepsKittitasCountySheriff'sOfficewilltaketomeetminimumrequirements.Inthesecases,reimbursementrequestsmaybedeferreduntiltheplanisreceivedandapprovedbyStateParks.•Considera"zerotolerance"enforcementpolicyforviolationsof:oLifejacketrequirements,includinglifejacketsnotworn,insufficientlifejackets,andlifejacketsfoundunserviceableortheincorrectsize.oCompletionandpossessionofthemandatoryboatereducationcardwhenoperating,foroperatorsrequiredtocarryit.oBoatoperationundertheinfluenceofalcohol(BUI)ruleso"Rulesoftheroad"andotheroperatingregulations•ParticipatewithWashingtonStateParksinthefollowingcampaigns:oOperationDryWateroNationalSafeBoatingWeekoSpringAboardoPaddleSafetyWeek•MyagencywillaccomplishthegoalsstatedintheA-300onlineapplicationandsummarizedafterthesignatureinthisagreement.AUTHORIZEDSIGNATUREIcertifythatIamauthorizedtoobligatetheKittitasCountySheriff'sOfficelistedbelow,Iamauthorizedtoacceptsuchfunds,andtoguaranteethatallgrantrequirementsoutlinedinthisagreementwillbemet.SigningOfficerSignatureDateSigningOfficerName(PleasePrint)Title
