BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2021-()C� <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT CENTER DIRECTOR <br />SIGNATURE ON PROPERTY LOSS SETTLMENT AND GRANTING THE DIRECTOR <br />AUTHORITY TO HANDLE ALL COROLLARY MATTERS RELATED TO <br />SETTTLEMENT <br />WHEREAS, a water damage loss occurred on the l Itn of February 2021 when a sprinkler head <br />on the fire suppression system in the grandstands ruptured causing ensuring water <br />damage; and <br />WHEREAS, the whole loss and damage total is $33,822.02; and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County has an applicable deductible of $5,000 making the insurance <br />amount claimed a total of $28,822.02; and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County must execute the attached Sworn Statement in Partial Proof of Loss <br />to exchange an insurance settlement check for the amount claimed; and <br />WHEREAS, the KVEC Director must also contract for the repairs of the water damage. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorizes the KVEC Director to sign documents <br />related to the property loss settlement as well as grants the Director authority to <br />handle all corollary matters related to the settlement. <br />DATED this <br />OtM�M I SSja'•••ff�f <br />ATTEftc . .... <br />day of Ayyl L , 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY OMMISSIONERS <br />KITTIT COUNT , WA ON <br />VIC�- <br />ASSENT <br />Commissioner <br />AMM'/1"GM(j&--v M <br />Qfyx/ y C er oft t <br />Board i <br />
