BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITT-1 ITAS <br />STATE OF WASRIN GTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -.( _t <br />TO APPROVE THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE NON-DISCRIIVIINATI N <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN K!TTITAS COUNTY ANTI) FEDERAL HIGHWAY <br />ADMINISTRATION AND THE TITLE VI ANNUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT <br />UPI"ATF REPORT FOR 2017 <br />WHEREAS: The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requires that any local <br />agency that receives any federal grants, loans, contracts, property, <br />discounts or other Federal assistance extended by Washington State <br />Department of Transportation (WSDOT) enter into a Non -Discrimination <br />Agreement (NDA) with WSDOT; and <br />WHEREAS: The FHWA requires a new NDA be submitted if the chief executive <br />officer has changed since the last NDA or update report; and <br />WHEREAS: WSDOT requires an updated Title VI Annual Accomplishment Update <br />Report because Kittitas County received federal funds during the 2017 <br />reporting period; and <br />NOW, THE, RE; ORE BE =i RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature <br />on the attached Nondiscrimination Agreement between Kittitas County <br />and Washington State Department of Transportation and the Title V1 <br />Annual Accomplishment Update Report for 2017. <br />DATED on this 6th day of February, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />✓ it k of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />of lthe Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTtTASTCOUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />pbk-Tl3:�icA� 4''��t:TlTrr: <br />
