This project will meet three main goals: , Data Collection. Thc City, organizations, and events to collect necessary and required data on park and trail usership, and event attcndance for JLARC reporting. This data will also provide us with valuable information for our maintenance and operation program. Park Upgrades. The City's Disc Golf Coune within the Hanson Ponds park area is unsigned and under promoted, With minimal upgrades, this park witl bring tourists to the area to enjoy a round or two of disc golf, and we anticipate will increase visitation to local businesses lbr dining, goods, and services. Tourism Related Restroom Maintenance. The City's public rcstrooms require far more maintenance during recent peak seasons than what the City Crew can currently sustain. However, these facilities are crucial to keeping a healthy, attractive, and vibrant downtown and parks, and must continue to be maintained at a high level to meet demand. The Cle Elum City Coirncil and I fully support this application and request your support to complete these tourism upgrades and operations. Thank you for your time and consideration.
