18 <br /> <br />Priority 3: Denmark Rd Safety Improvements <br />ESTIMATED COST $431,498 <br /> <br />• Denmark Rd from MP 0.50 to MP 3.08 has several structures in need of adequate railing. <br />• Denmark Rd from MP 3.08 to MP 4.35 has steep curves, both vertical and horizontal. The road narrows <br />greatly at the corner with steep embankments on both sides of the road. The countermeasures in place are <br />minimal and no rail is present at the corner. <br />• Recent improvements include extension of the existing culvert and the addition of rock to prevent <br />undercutting of the roadway and shoulder buildup. <br />• Denmark Rd includes five bridges rated as Code 3 (see Priority Two in this plan). Bridge IDs are: 79143-ob, <br />79144, 79261-ob, 79262-ob, 79351-ob. <br /> <br /> <br />
