Powers, to provide Indigent <br />Defense Services for 2021, beginning March 1, 2021 through December 31, <br />2021. <br /> AGREEMENT MARGIE ALUMBAUGH – INDIGENT DEFENSE SERVICES SUPERIOR COURT <br />Approve an Addendum to Agreement between Kittitas County and the <br />Superior Court of Washington and Margie Alumbaugh, to provide Indigent <br />Defense Services for 2021, beginning March 1, 2021 through December 31, <br />2021. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE – NONE ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS - NONE <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS – NONE BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS RESOLUTION YEAR-AROUND HEAVY TRUCK TRAFFIC PUBLIC WORKS <br />Commissioner Wright moved to not take action on the proposed Resolution; <br />remand it back to Staff; request data on traffic use to be taken over a <br />year; and bring it back to the Board at a later date. Chairman Wachsmith <br />seconded. Motion carried 2—0. MISCELLANEOUS - NONE EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />At 2:18 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess into <br />Executive Session with Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Mike Flory, Building <br />Official; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; Toni Berkshire, Code <br />Enforcement Officer; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; Ken Grannan, <br />Airport Director; and Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project <br />Manager; for 15 minutes to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant <br />for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee. <br />However, subject to RCW 42.30.140 (4), discussion by a governing body of <br />salaries, wages, and other conditions of employment to be generally <br />applied within the agency shall occur in a meeting open to the public, <br />and when a governing body elects to take final action hiring, setting <br />the salary of an individual employee or class of employees, or <br />discharging or disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken in a <br />meeting open to the public. No action was anticipated.
