BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE DIGITAL SUBMITTAL <br />CERTIFICATION TO THE COUNTY ROAD ADMINISTRATION BOARD FOR 2020 <br />ROAD FUND EXPENDITURES <br />WHEREAS: The County Road Administration Board (CRAB) requires annual reporting of <br />various Road Fund expenditures by the County Engineer; and <br />WHEREAS: The County Sheriff, County Auditor, County Engineer, and the Chair of the Board <br />of County Commissioners are required to annually certify Road Fund diversions <br />supporting Traffic Law Enforcement (TLE) activities; and <br />WHEREAS: The County Sheriff, County Auditor and County Engineer have all signed the <br />certification reporting $200,529.00 in 2020 Road Fund diversion; and <br />WHEREAS: The County Engineer has signed the required reports and said reports are now <br />ready for Chair signature; and <br />WHEREAS: The Chair of the Board of County Commissioners signature is now required to <br />complete 2020 County Road Administration Board (CRAB) reporting <br />requirements; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature on the Digital Submittal <br />Certification to the County Road Administration Board for 2020 Road Fund Expenditures. <br />DATED this 6th day of April 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
