Future Plans*The Washington State Ski & Snoi,tboard Museum has plans to make this program <br />self-sustain ing, <br />Previously, WSSSM marketing epenses had been utilized for printed rack cards, <br />brochures, posters, a basicwebsite, Facebook, and email campaigns. ln 2019, r,re <br />did a major ralebsite revamp, and added lnstagram, YouTube, and some limited <br />paid Facebook advertising to our social media efforts. We have also found larger 6 <br />x 9 direct mail postcards to our mailing list to be an effective way of generating <br />RSVPs for our events. Each year, \,\,e pay for WSDOT freeway signage advertising <br />the museum on l-90. <br />ln 2019, we also invested marketing dollars to create a WSSSM booth with free- <br />standing signage, table signage and givear,vays, including WSSSM pens, Bob Cram <br />notecards, WSSSM stickers, WSSSM gift tags. and most recently WSSSM <br />stylusipens for use in the museum during Covid. This booth has gotten <br />considerable usage at our o\,4/lr events. Warren Miller movies, Ski Bonkers and <br />event at The Summit at Snoqualnrie. <br />After investing dollars in WSSSM's digital and in person marketing presence the <br />past t\ io years. with ihe help of the Kitiitas County Lodging Tax Grani r € are now <br />ready to invest in a paid digital campaign with a targeted, supported print <br />canrpaign. This campaign will have three components: <br />1. General Museum Awareness/MarketinglTourismA/isit Us Campaign which will <br />change by season for 2021 <br />2. Surprisinc to some, <br />WSSSM is just as busy in the summer as it is in the winter. What was impacted, rivas <br />WSSSM's partner programs with Dru Bru, The Sunrmit at Snoqualmie, and others. <br />ln the fall of 2019, WSSSM has many discussions with Dru Bru about partnering <br />our spaces iogether to host a series of events including lectures, music. and beer <br />tastings, and other private events. We were also set to sponsor Dru Bru's already <br />successful tunnel run. Due to Covid, these events were not able to get siarted in <br />2420.
