Response 1: <br />Project/Event <br />Description * <br />The Miss Rodeo Washington Pageant will be an open event that includes Miss <br />Rodeo Washington contestants, Miss Teen Rodeo Washington contestarrts, and <br />their family and friends, plus the volunteer uorkers, dignitaries and members of the <br />local community during the Columbus Day weekend. <br />The beautiful city of Ellensburg vras selected for our pageant due to its <br />central location in Washington State. The picturesque Kittitas valley is the <br />perfect backdrop to host this western pageant where u,e will crown the <br />First lady of Washington rodeo! <br />We plan on movirrg lhe pageant from the current location at the Kittitas <br />Valley Event Center to the Hotel Windrow located in downtovr,n historic <br />Ellensburg. This move will enable us to increase our audience fronr a <br />capacity of 100 to 250 and will give our audience more access for shopping <br />e>qrloring and to enjoy the many food establishments during the pageant. <br />We have booked the appearance of Miss Rodeo America as our guest <br />speaker for the pageant, in order to drawa larger attendance. The <br />Horsemanship portion of the pageant will be a free and an open event <br />located in the Bloom Pavilion. We target all of the Northwest lhrough social <br />media, print advertising, radio advertising, posters.
