4.2 Promoting Local*BUSINESS <br />Describe how yor-t will gonote lodging estaHishrerrts, restaurants, and business located il1 t(ttitas &unty <br />Marketing: WASARVAC will continue to make arrangements with Hotels/Motels and <br />Camping siles for Conference attendees. <br />Far 2A21 we are planning a Conference social event. This event is in the planning <br />stages, but will include ihe use of either catering, food trucks and or local <br />restaurants and Breweries. We will be using Online, Social Media, Radio, <br />Neraspaper and if possible Television advertising for marketing. All required logos <br />and information will be used. <br />There are individual packets handed out to each attendee (sr,rag bags) every year <br />during conference registration, including Kittitas Chamber of Commerce handouts <br />and information lrom upper and lolver county tourism businesses, Restaurants, <br />venues, establishments, and advertisements. This will continue to be utllized and <br />u,e will add information about Kittitas County and ideas for things to do while here <br />to the WA SARVAC registration vrrrebsite or include it as a downloadable form after <br />registration. <br />In 2019 !!e \ffere able to publish a PSA regarding the event in the Daily Record <br />during the event. Include any plans for ticket <br />sales, event sponsors, and other cost-recovery models. <br />Future Plans*Self Sustaining: Registration fees are kept as low as possible in order to make this <br />training conference feasible.
