From:Laurel Bell
To:CDS User; Kelly Bacon (CD)
Subject:Project File # LP-20-00002 - Comment
Date:Tuesday, October 20, 2020 7:40:03 PM
To Whom It May Concern:

My husband and I are in receipt of the Notice of Application for the above mentioned project and
have some serious concerns. We own the Suncadia property located at 400 Tipple Hill Loop, and are
full-time residents. We purchased our home two years ago, in large part because of the view from
the back of our home. Currently, we have a peek-a-boo view of the golf park but mostly have a
west-facing territorial view above a tree covered hillside. The thought of having 24 noise-filled
rental homes across the fairway is frankly very disturbing.

We are currently flanked by rental homes on both sides of us and the weekends can be very
disruptive with what often amounts to a “boys weekend frat party” right outside our master
bedroom. Multiplying that by 12 is very alarming to us.

I understand that we are the only house along the 15th fairway having full-time occupants so we
don’t have much, if any voice in this matter, but I would appreciate having our peace considered. I
don’t know where the proposed property line is, but would ask that the cabins be placed back from
the hillside and none of the trees be cut down as they are our only buffer.

We bought our house to enjoy our retirement and this seems like a truly unnecessary addition to
Suncadia, which is quickly turning into just a vacation rental community. There are plenty of homes
for rent and disrupting the beauty of the area can’t possibly be advantageous for the community.
The reputation is quickly turning into just a place to come party, but it means a lot more to those of
us who have chosen to live here full-time. I see deer and elk come down that hillside all the time
and knowing it’s going to be disrupted for the sake of the winery is capitalism at it’s worst.

I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Laurel Bell
253-232-0305

Sent from Mail for Windows 10

Index #39
