KITTITAS COUNTY <br />PUBLIC WORKS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />Webex <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM FEBRUARY 8, 2021 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz, Commissioner Cory Wright <br />Others: Darren Case, Arden Thomas, Candie Leader, Josh Fredrickson, <br />Rebecca Cruse, Public Works; Dan Carlson, Jessica Miller, Toni <br />Berkshire, Community Development Services; Neil Caulkins, Prosecuting <br />Attorney's Office and Four (4) Members of the Public <br />At 1:30 pm Chairman Brett Wachsmith opened the Public Works Study <br />Session. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A NOTICE OF CALL FOR SEALED BIDS FOR THE SUPPLY OF <br />A 30' STEEL MODULAR BRIDGE <br />Darren Case gave background on the Fairview Road project and part of <br />the right of way acquisition the establishment of access was agreed <br />upon. Darren Case continued that this call for bids for the <br />procurement of the thirty (30) foot structure allows for the project <br />to be completed. Vice -Chairman Laura Osiadacz made a motion to <br />approve a Notice of Call for Sealed Bids for the Supply of a 30' <br />Steel Modular Bridge. Commissioner Cory Wright seconded said motion. <br />Motion passed 3-0. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR A STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />TO PROVIDE 2021-2022 KITTITAS COUNTY WATER BANKING PROGRAM SUPPORT <br />SERVICES <br />Arden Thomas gave background on the Statement of Qualifications and <br />explained the need for on-call task order support with the water <br />metering and mitigation program being moved to Public Works. Arden <br />Thomas added that this process follows the procedures for soliciting <br />for on-call support. Vice -Chairman Laura Osiadacz made a motion to <br />approve a Request for Advertisement for a Statement of Qualifications <br />to Provide 2021-2022 Kittitas County Water Banking Program Support <br />Services.
