Joint BOCC / Board of Health Minutes <br />December /7, 2020 <br />3 of 4 <br />KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 17, 2020 <br />WebEx Meeting <br />10:00 am <br />Present <br />Board of Health (BOH): Brett Wachsmith, Laura Osiadacz, Cory Wright, Dede Utley <br />Absent: John Asriel <br />Public Health: Tristen Lamb, Jesse Cox, Chelsey Loeffers, Katie Odiaga <br />Other: Rich Elliott, Incident Command <br />Meeting called to order at 10:36 am <br />Introductions <br />Introductions were completed. <br />Minutes <br />Motion to approve the November 24, 2020 Board of Health meeting minutes <br />Motion 12-01: Motion to approve the November 24, 2020, Board of Health meeting minutes. Dede <br />Utley moved to approve the November 24, 2020 Board of Health meeting minutes. Laura Osiadacz <br />second. All approved. Motion 12-01 carried to approve the November 24, 2020 Board of Health <br />meeting minutes. <br />Business <br />COVID-19 Vaccine Uodate <br />Rich Elliot provided an update regarding the COVID-19 vaccine in Kittitas County. Kittitas County will <br />receive Pfizer/BioNTech Vaccine. Mr. Elliot updated the board on vaccine storage and distribution, as <br />well as information about mRNA vaccine. <br />There was discussion regarding vaccine distribution, and scheduling while accommodating possible <br />immune response/reactions. <br />Department Update <br />COVID/Health Officer Update <br />Dr. Larson updated the board on Central Washington University case and contact investigations, as well <br />as testing of students. Dr. Larson also gave an update regarding COVID-19 and K-12 schools in Kittitas <br />County. Rapid antigen testing in Kittitas County was also discussed. Dr. Larson discussed the new Center <br />for Disease Control quarantine requirements. The new COVID notification system was also reviewed. <br />Dr. Larson informed the board of the case numbers for COVID in Kittitas County following Thanksgiving <br />and going into Christmas. <br />
