DISCUSSION: <br />The Flood Control Zone District has received inquiries ftom District 2 rate payers <br />interested in serving the of Flood Control Zone District Advisory Committee District. <br />Staff recommends advertising the vacancy has prepared a press release for Board <br />consideration and desires issuing upon Board approval (EXHIBIT 1). <br />Per the Flood Control Zone District bylaws, "should a member resign from the advisory <br />committee, new applications will be submitted, and the Board of County Commissioners <br />shall select a new rate payer from that Commissioner District."
