Future Plans*The Kittitas County Historical Museum has plans to make this program self-
sustaining.
Due to the success of the advertising, the Museum's Board of Directors has
become educated about the rate of return of the advertising investnrent and
maintains a budget line ol $2,500 to match any advertisirrg or reach alternative
markets-
We have received an increased rate of donations to the museum as a result of
increased visitation to the museum, which we attribute to the current advertising
campaign. We have also increased our membership program in wtrich the fees go
toraards funding events, activities, and programs.
It is anticipated that with the auareness of the museum, its exhibits and lecture
series, revenue from our gift shop, donations, and membership dues will eventually
itrcrease, allowing the advertising budget line to growto a larger amount and
reduce future requests for support from the Kittitas County Consolidated Lodging
Tax Grant,
Our leclure series, if allowed onsite, has a preferred hotel of the Holiday lnn
Express for our lecturers and guests. ln the event u/9 develop further plans for
events, rue will \ ilrk with a hotel for a package or event activity.
2500 character lirrit
Application Questions: ?art 4
6l Additional lnformation
Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee in evaluating your
project and its benefit to tourism.
2020 lnformation ll you haci a planned evenlinZA20. \ilhether il was able to take place or not. please Ccscribe any successes arrd
challenges you experienced.
There rnere numerous planned events scheduled for the Museum in 2020 that were
cancelled or postponed as a result of the COVID-19 closure.
