<br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SPECIFYING THE COMPOSITION OF THE BOWLING ALLEY <br />REVIEW COMMITTEE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 2021 - _______ <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners wishes to establish a review <br />committee for the Bowling Alley RFP responses; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners have caused research to be conducted with <br />regard to the future use and development of the property located at the <br />intersection of 9th and Poplar that was formerly a bowling alley; and <br />WHEREAS: the decision as to the use and development of this property has the potential for <br />significant economic benefits to the Kittitas County community; and <br />WHEREAS: the Board desires that the Kittitas County community have the opportunity to <br />consider the options available for the future use and development of this property, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Bowling Alley RFP Review <br />Committee shall consist of representatives from the following groups: <br /> 1 (One) members from each of the Commissioner Districts; 1 (one) member from the <br />City of Ellensburg; the Event Center Director, the Maintenance Director and, the Chair, who will <br />be a member of the Board of County Commissioners. The Committee will be staffed by the <br />consultant. <br /> <br />Their term of appointment shall be for one years, except the member appointed to represent <br />Kittitas County shall serve “at-will”. At any point of a vacancy, including at the time of the initial <br />formation of the committee, the Board of County Commissioners shall advertise for the <br />appointment for these positions. <br />The function of the committee is to make review recommendations to the Board of County <br />Commissioners as to the feasibility or advisability of the proposal to meet the county’s needs. The <br />committee shall submit a report of its activities and recommendations to the Board of County <br />Commissioners after completing the scoring and evaluation of the proposals. <br />The Committee members (except the county representative and the chairperson) shall not <br />be considered employees of the county nor receive any compensation or benefits. The committee <br />members (except the county representative and the chairperson) shall not receive county email <br />accounts.
