One we call small raffle that <br />you can buy tickets for the day of the event. There \ €re no <br />successes for 2020. The challenge of 2020 had been to announce that the event <br />was cancelled. We know it was necessary but it was still sad. We felt like we \ ere <br />just making good momentum as a tourist destinalion. Now the challenge will be is <br />keeping the momentum r,re had as if 2020 never happened. This will be our 30th <br />Anniversary and hope that will be our ace in the hole. <br />2500 charactr:r lirrit <br />Additional lnformation Most people when living in Washington State have one thing on their mind afier <br />spending the last srx months in rain and cold and no real time off of ra,nrk since <br />Christmas, is getting to someplace r.&armer. <br />Those that don't go by plane. travel to eastern Washington by vehicle for the <br />sunshine. lnterstate 90 is the main access to eastern Washinglon from King and <br />Pierce County's. That being said, Kittitas Counly is the first county they enter and <br />Easton is the first 1or,vn located irr eastern Washington. <br />Memorial Day tiveekend statistically has the highest traffic voh-rme of the year with <br />186,000 cars crossing Snoqualmie Pass on that r,rcekend alone. <br />Why not capitalize on this by kicking off summer with i.drat Kittitas County has to <br />offer. <br />lf tare work as a county team making Easton Memorial Day Celebration as the kick <br />off to sumnrer on Menlorial Day weekend, Cle Elum Downtown Associalion \.Mculd be <br />the 4th of July event and Ellensburg finishing off summer with the Ellensburg <br />Rodeo, rae can make our county a summer destination for all. Everything else in <br />the middle is icing on the cake! Making Kittilas County the "place to be". <br />Hey!
