We have not had success in finding grant opportunities that <br />match our mission or 501c4 status for the 2021 year. We will continue pursuing <br />private funding sources in the form of sponsorships/donations and seeking grants <br />that pertain to our mission. <br />2500 clraracter lirit <br />Funding Shortfalls*V1,hat changes will be nede if funding fo" your request is noi available or reconrrended? <br />Should there not be funding available for the Cle Elum Roundup project then <br />further reduction in expenditures will need io take place. This will mean even more <br />drastic changes to ihe event tharr already planned. <br />lf comparing our 20'19 and 2A21 br-rdget you will notice that ependitures and <br />incomes have already been reduced by nrore than $10,000 each. To further <br />reduce expenditutes will mean a change in the quality of event production. This will <br />not only have an effect on this year's event but may carry on to future years. <br />There are certain aspects of the rodeo u,e can rrot compromise on for the <br />protection of our sanctioning agreement and the safety of our coniestants, stock <br />and fans. We have already taken a close look at our budget and will not be able to <br />reduce admin expenses, verrue, stock, and contestant a\ryards. This means that we <br />will need to reduce in areas that will be highly reflective to our consumer with <br />reductions in entertainment, special kidlfamily activities, limited seating, <br />2500 character limt.
