<br />While hard to quantify, based on our daily attendance logs, 2p code surveys, guest
<br />book entries, and in person visitor discussions, we knowthat WSSSM 20'1 I 6,000
<br />annual visitors come from many regions, with approximately 90% from 50+ miles
<br />aumy. While the majority are from the 50+ mile radius of the Seattle/Tacoma metro
<br />area, fetter than 10% come from inside Kittitas County. Other top destinations in
<br />the staie include Bainbridge lsland, Yakima, and Snohomish County. Top states
<br />mentioned in recent guest book logs include Oregon, California. ldaho, Colorado,
<br />Utah, Montana, Alaska, Virginia, Vermont, Ohio, NewMexico, Har,raii, Florida, and
<br />Maine. lnternational visitors include Canada, UK, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, Brazil,
<br />France, and others.
<br />For 2021 . we are projecting a lift from 6,000 to 7,000 visitors based on increased
<br />marketing efforts, a 16.67% increase.

<br />Being that this is WSSSM's first year applying for the lodging tax grant, we have not
<br />carefully monitored direct lodging stays related to our events, but plan to do so in
<br />the future.

<br />WSSSM is a small organization with 1-2 part-time paid staff, run alniost entirely by
<br />volunteers. We have not been able to manage applying for large grants in the pasl.
