Seasonal illegal parking is impacting emergency response operations <br />along with routine snow removal operations. The Department of Public Works is seeking <br />proposals from qualified firms in deterring illegal seasonal parking within the community <br />of Hyak. <br />SCOPE OF PROJECT: Towing and impoundment of illegally parked vehicles or other <br />innovative means of discouraging ongoing illegal parking in Hyak. It is anticipated that <br />responders will consider new technologies such as smart release parking boots and/or other <br />technologies that will not require removal of illegally parked vehicles. <br />PROCEDURES FOR SUBMITTAL: <br />If you wish to be considered for work under this Request for Proposal (RFP), you must be a <br />registered consultant on the Municipal Research and Service Center of Washington — Shared <br />Small Works and Consultant Roster (www.mrscroster.org). <br />If interested in providing Hyak No Parking Enforcement Support Services to the County, <br />submit a sealed envelope to Mark R. Cook, Kittitas County Public Works Director, at 411 N. <br />Ruby St. Suite 1, Ellensburg WA 98926. Submittals shall include three copies of your RFP <br />response utilizing provided County response forms. <br />For your records, the County will provide a confirmation email to the contacts provided in the <br />submittal confirming receipt of your interest in the proposal. Submittals received after February <br />19, 2021 will be disregarded. The County reserves the right to reject one or more submittals. <br />411 N.
