01/19/2021 MINUTES 4 AGREEMENT CENTRAL WA COMPREHENSIVE MENTAL HEALTH SHERIFF Approve an Agreement between Comprehensive Mental Health and the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office, to supply a qualified practitioner who will provide mental health related assessment and recommendations for specific inmates at the Kittitas County Jail, in the amount of $85.00 per hour, not to exceed $22,000.00 per year. AGREEMENT COMPREHENSIVE MENTAL HEALTH SHERIFF Approve an Agreement between the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and Comprehensive Healthcare in the amount of $125.00 to provide a qualified practitioner for mental health related medical assessment and treatment to inmates at the Kittitas County Jail through December 31, 2021. AGREEMENT WA STATE MILITARY DEPARTMENT SHERIFF Acknowledge Homeland Security Grant Agreement No. E21-082 between the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington State Military Department, in the amount of $46,003.00 for ongoing Homeland Security Grants that are managed through the Region 7 Interlocal Agreement, from September 1, 2020 through December 31, 2022. CORRESPONDENCE – NONE ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS - NONE CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS Grace from KITTCOM requested the Board of County Commissioners acknowledge dispatchers be included as “first responders” and not “secretaries”. She said she hoped if they acknowledge it others in the State will follow and go before the legislature. BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS REQUEST DEPT OF NATURAL RESOURCES AIRPORT Ken Grannan, Director of Airport Operations, reviewed a request from the Department of Natural Resources to forgive late fees relating to their lease at Bowers Field. Commissioner Wright moved to deny the request from the Department of Natural Resources for a one-time forgiveness of late fees. Chairman Wachsmith seconded. Motion carried 3-0. MISCELLANEOUS - NONE
