ORDINANCE 2021-002 DEFENSE & INDEMNIFICATION PROSECUTOR COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Ordinance No. 2021-002, <br />Adopting Kittitas County Code Chapter 2.73f – Defense and <br />Indemnification of County Officers, Employees, and Volunteers. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING SPECTRUM PACIFIC WEST, LLC PUBLIC WORKS <br />At 2:20 p.m. CHAIRMAN WASCHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />a Countywide Telecommunications Franchise with Spectrum Pacific <br />West, LLC, an Indirect Subsidiary of Charter Communications, Inc. <br /> MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report and said <br />the Prosecutors office has been working with them on renewing a <br />Franchise for Countywide Telecommunications and both parties have <br />come to an agreement on proposed changes. The Agreement will be for <br />ten (10) years and will be reevaluated at the end of the term. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. FRANCHISE AGREEMENT SPECTRUM PACIFIC WEST, LLC PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve a Non-Exclusive Franchise to <br />use County Roads, Rights-of-Way and Other County Property Within <br />Kittitas County between Spectrum Pacific West, LLC, an Indirect <br />Subsidiary of Charter Communications, Inc. and Kittitas County for a <br />term of 10 Years. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded.
