Kittitas County Capital lmprovement Program January 5, 2021 Six-Year Plan lntroduction The Six-Year Plan shows capital improvements that are needed to provide adequate public facilities in Kittitas County. The County either directly provides these capital improvements or coordinates with other agencies to provide them. The Six-Year Plan is reviewed and updated annually. Annual updates are made to correct or modi$ project costs, revenue sources, and dates of construction. Accomplishments Kittitas County completed several capital improvements during the 2015 to 2020 period. These accomplishments included: o Purchase ofproperty for the new Ellensburg Transfer Stationo Installed rebuilt septage lagoon and installed new screeno Completion of Kittitas County Fairgrounds Master Plan o Purchase of 5 tax parcels southeast of Alder St and University Way for Master Plan expansion o Rodeo Arena lighting upgraded to LED r Irrigation system, fire suppression system, and electrical upgrades to Bloom Pavilion o Replacement of footing in Rodeo Arena r Fire District I Station 13 o Bloom Pavilion ventilation and fire system upgrades o Removed 21 units from Shady Brook Mobile home park r Completed Space needs analysis of Courthouse r Bowers Field rehabilitated the windsock and segmented circle. r Bowers Field removed tree obstructions Runway lll29 approaches. o Bowers Field properly graded North and South Runway lll29 safefy areas. o Bowers Field upgraded apron lighting and other airfield lighting to LED o Central Washington University Science II Building o Central Washington University Samuelson Renovation and Addition r Central Washington University Health Sciences Building o Central Washington University Dugmore Hall r Cle Elum-Roslyn School District Music Building r Cle Elum-Roslyn School District Transportation Facility Six-Year Plan Page 1
