Kittitas County Capital Improvement Program January 5, 2021 <br />Six-Year Plan Page 1 <br /> <br />0BSix-Year Plan <br />Introduction <br />The Six-Year Plan shows capital improvements that are needed to provide adequate public <br />facilities in Kittitas County. The County either directly provides these capital improvements or <br />coordinates with other agencies to provide them. The Six-Year Plan is reviewed and updated <br />annually. Annual updates are made to correct or modify project costs, revenue sources, and dates <br />of construction. <br />Accomplishments <br />Kittitas County completed several capital improvements during the 2015 to 2020 period. These <br />accomplishments included: <br /> <br />• Purchase of property for the new Ellensburg Transfer Station <br />• Installed rebuilt septage lagoon and installed new screen <br />• Completion of Kittitas County Fairgrounds Master Plan <br />• Purchase of 5 tax parcels southeast of Alder St and University Way for Master Plan <br />expansion <br />• Rodeo Arena lighting upgraded to LED <br />• Irrigation system, fire suppression system, and electrical upgrades to Bloom Pavilion <br />• Replacement of footing in Rodeo Arena <br />• Fire District 1 Station 13 <br />• Bloom Pavilion ventilation and fire system upgrades <br />• Removed 21 units from Shady Brook Mobile home park <br />• Completed Space needs analysis of Courthouse <br />• Bowers Field rehabilitated the windsock and segmented circle. <br />• Bowers Field removed tree obstructions Runway 11/29 approaches. <br />• Bowers Field properly graded North and South Runway 11/29 safety areas. <br />• Bowers Field upgraded apron lighting and other airfield lighting to LED <br />• Central Washington University Science II Building <br />• Central Washington University Samuelson Renovation and Addition <br />• Central Washington University Health Sciences Building <br />• Central Washington University Dugmore Hall <br />• Cle Elum-Roslyn School District Music Building <br />• Cle Elum-Roslyn School District Transportation Facility <br />
