ELLENSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 40 1 <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08.10.20 <br />CERTIFICATION OF 2O2I EXCESS PROPERTY TAXES <br />A RESOLUTION of the Board of Directors of Ellensburg School District No. <br />401, Kittitas County, Washington, certifying to the Board of County Commissioners <br />ofKittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent ofEducational Service District <br />No. 105, the amount of excess property ta(es to be levied in year 2020 and,collected in <br />yeat 2021for the District's General Fund, Debt Service Fund and Capital Projects Fund; <br />and providing for related matters. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF ELLENSBURG SCHOOLDISTRICTNo.401, KITTITAS couNTy, WASHINGToN, as foflows: <br />Section 1. Findings and Determinations. The Board of Directors (the "Board") of <br />Ellensburg School District No.401, Kittitas County, Washington (the "District") takes note of the <br />following facts and makes the following findings and determinations: <br />(a) By Resolution No. lg.}7.z},the Board adopted a budget for Fiscal Year 2020-21 (the <br />'2020-21 Budget') that included certified General Fund educational programs and operation excess <br />property taxes in the amount of $4,?41,027 to be levied in2020 and collectid in202l. <br />(b) The2020-21Budget also included certified Debt Service Fund excess properry taxes to <br />pay debt service on all of the District's outstanding unlimited tax general obligation bonds in the amount <br />of $9,104,000 to be levied in2020 and collected :u,2021. The BoLd has determined that the amount of <br />the Disfrict's Debt Service Fund excess tax levy previously certified in the 2020-21Budget of $9,104,000 <br />should now be increased to the amount of $9,750,000. <br />(c) The 2020-21Budget ftrther included certified Capital Projects Fund excess propeqy <br />taxes in the amount of $688,000 to be levied in 2020 and collecte,a inzozt. <br />$pctiou 2.
