I(ITTCOM Administrative B oard Resolution z o z o- g <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 39.34 of the Revised Code of Washington, the Interlocal <br />Cooperation Act, allows governmental agencies to enter into agreements that provide for the <br />efficient use of their powers and to cooperate with each other in providing services;and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County has a need for on-call prosecutor after hours services to <br />be provided to the Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office; and KITTCOM has the <br />need for certain legal services; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parties recognize the benefit of cooperation and collaboration in <br />accomplishing their independent functions, using their limited resources to best effect, and <br />efficiently delivering quality services to the people of Kittitas County; <br />WHBREAS, the Parties entered into such an agreement that is set to expire at the end <br />of December 2020, and wish to renew it for another five years under the terms and conditions <br />of the h'rterlocal Agreement shown on and attached hereto; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Comrnissioners authorized the execution of this <br />Interlocal Agreement by action taken at a regular meeting; and <br />Now THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the KITTCOM <br />Admirristrative Board authorizes the execution of the renewed Interlocal Agreement with <br />Kittitas County that is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />Administrative Board of KITTCOM on this I O aayof December zo2o <br />Scherer, Chair, KITTCOM Board <br />ATTEST: George Secretary, KIT'ICOM Administrative Board
