KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 15, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider/acknowledge reappointments or NEW <br />appointments to the following County Boards, <br />Committee’s and Commissions: Kittitas County <br />Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee; <br />County Law & Justice Council; Developmental <br />Disabilities Advisory Committee; Behavioral <br />Health Recovery Advisory Board; TV Dist.; Airport <br />Advisory Committee; Fair Board & Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Currently the County has multiple vacancies on its <br />volunteer Boards, Committee’s and Commissions. <br /> Staff advertised in July of 2020 for all upcoming <br />and current vacancies. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Staff published notice of vacancies through the <br />County’s Press Release application which sends <br />notice to the Daily Record, the County website and <br />its subscribers as well as KXLE Radio. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Consider the Reappointment of Toby <br />Allphin (term ending 12/31/2020), for a 3 <br />year term to the Kittitas County <br />Developmental Disabilities Advisory <br />Committee, effective 1/1/2021 and to expire <br />12/31/2023. <br /> <br /> Consider the Reappointments of Bret Hollar, <br />Greg Zempel, Heather Harrell, Jessie <br />Blackwood & Robert Marin (terms ending <br />12/31/2020), for a 3 year term to the Kittitas <br />County Fair Board effective 1/1/2021 and to <br />expire 12/31/2023. <br /> <br /> Consider the Reappointments of Amy Mayo <br />& Steve Luten (terms ending 12/31/2020)
