ELLENSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 401 KITTITAS COI.INTY, WASHINGTON RESOLUTiON NO. 08.10.20 CERTIFICATION OF 2O2I EXCESS PROPERTY TAXES A RESOLUTION of the Board of Directors of Ellensburg School District No. 401, Kittitas County, Washington, certifying to the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent of Educational Service District No. 105, the amount of excess property taxes to be levied in year 2020 andcollected in year 2021for the District's General Fund, Debt Service Fund and Capital Projects Fund; and providing for related matters. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF ELLENSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 401, KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON, as follows: Section 1. Findines and Determinations. The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Ellensburg School District No. 401, Kiuitas County, Washington (the "District') takes note of the following facts and makes the following findings and determinations: (a) By Resolution No. D.A7.20, the Board adopted a budget for Fiscal Yew 2020-21 (the*2020'21 Budget') that included certified General Fund educational programs and operation excess property taxes in the amount of $4,7 4l ,027 to be levied in 2A20 and collecte d in 2021 . (b) The2020-21 Budget also included certified Debt Service Fund excess propertytaxes to pay debt service on all of the District's outstanding unlimited tax general obligation Uondsln t[e amount of$9,104,000to be levied in2020 andcollected:rr-2)2l. TheBoardhasdeterminedthattheamountof theDiskict'sDebtServiceFundexcesstaxlevypreviouslycertifiedinthe2D0-21Budgetof$9,104,000 should now be increased to the amount of $9,750,000. (c) The 2A2A'21 Budget firther included certified Capital Projects Fund excess property taxes in the amount of $688,000 to be levied inzlz} and collectedin}a2l. Section 2. Certification of General Fund Excess Property Tax Levy. Pursuant to RCW 84.52.020, the Board certifies to the Board of County Commissioners ofKittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent of Educational Service District No. 105, an excess property tax levy n tfre amount of $4,741 ,027 to be levied in calendar yeu 2020 and collected in calindar yeu 2021for the District's General Fund. Section3. Certification of Debt Service Fund Excess Properfy Tax Levy. Pursuant to RCW 84.52.02A, the Board certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent of Educational Service District No. 105, an excess property tax levy in the amount of $9,750,000 to be levied in calendar yew 202A and collected in calendar yew 20Zl for the District's Debt Service Fund. Section 4. Certification of Capital Projects Fund Excess Propetv Tax Leqv.
