ELLENSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 401 KITflTAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 08.10.20 CERTIFICATION OF 2O2l EXCESS PROPERry TAXES A RESOLUTION of the Board of Directors of Ellensburg School District No. 401, Kittitas County, Washington, certifying to the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent of Educational Service District No. 105, the amount of excess property taxes to be levied in year 2020 and collected in year 2021. for the District's General Fund, Debt Service Fund and Capital Projects Fund; and providing for related matters. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF ELLENSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 401, KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON, as follows: Section 1 Findings and Determinations. The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Ellensburg School DistrictNo.401, Kittitas County, Washington (the o'District") takes note of the following facts and makes the following findings and determinations: (a) By Resolution No. 19.07.20, the Board adopted a budget for Fiscal Year 2020-21 (the*2020-21Budget") that included certified General Fund educational programs and operation excess property taxes in the amount of $4,741,027 tobe levied in2020 and collectedln2}Zl. (b) The2O20-21 Budget also included certified Debt Service Fund excess property taxes to pay debt service on all of the District's outstandingunlimited tax general obligation bonds in the amount of $9,104,000 to be levied in2120 and collecte d n2o2l. The Board has determined that the amount of the District's Debt Service Fund excess tax levypreviously certified inthe2020-21 Budget of $9,104,000 should now be increased to the amount of $9,775,000. (c) The 2O2O-21 Budget further included certified Capital Projects Fund excess property taxes in the amount of $688,000 to be levied in2o20 and collected in2021. Section 2. Certification of General Fund Excess Property Tax Irvy. Pursuant to RCW 84.52.020, the Board certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent of Educational Service District No. 105, an ex@ss property tax levy in the amount of $4,741,027 to be levied in calendar year 2020 and collected in calendar year 2O2l for the District's General Fund. Section 3. Certification of Debt Service Fund Excess Property Tax Icvy. Pursuant to RCW 84.52.020, the Board certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent of Educational Service District No. 105, an excess property tax levy in the amount of $9,775,000 to be levied in calendar year 2020 and collected in calendar year 20ZI for the District's Debt Service Fund. Section 4. Certification of Capital Projects Fund Excess Property Tax lrvy. Pursuant to RCW 84.52.020, the Board certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent of Educational Service District No. 105, an excess property tax 531,66454.3
