2020-11-05 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING THURSDAY 4:00 P.M. NOVEMBER 05, 2020 Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. (via Webex) Others: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; and Bill Clarke, Special Appointed County Lobbyist. SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS At 4:00 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting and announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 5 minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. No action was anticipated. At 4:05 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No action taken. At 4:05 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 5 minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. No action was anticipated. At 4:10 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No action taken. SPECIAL MEETING LEGISLATIVE AGENDA COMMISSIONERS The Board overviewed the draft 2021 Kittitas County Commissioners Legislative Agenda Items with Bill Clarke, Special Appointed Lobbyist. Items included were under the topics of policy issues, operating budget, capital budget, transportation budget, and relationship to WSAC legislative agenda. Mr. Clarke provided several points of interest under each topic. The Board will take time individually to decide which items are of most important for the next year. The Board will schedule another meeting for a later date with Mr. Clarke to finalize the 2021 legislative priorities. Meeting adjourned at 4:42 p.m. KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
