I<,PG <br />TASK 6A - FTNAL DESTGN (PAVEMENT REPATR AND OVERLAY) <br />Objectivei Develop final project design for the Vantage Highway pavement repair and overlay <br />including construction plans, specifications, and cost estimate. Perform the design congruent with <br />guardrail design, permit requirements and the recommendations of the geotechnical report. <br />Consu ltant Responsibilities: <br />L. Participate in design coordination meetings with the County. Prepare agendas, figures, <br />meeting minutes and other exhibits as necessary. Assumes up to two coordination meetings. <br />2. Coordinate with utility owners within the project area. lt is anticipated that the utilities may <br />include Consolidated Communications, Kittitas County PUD and Puget Sound Electric. <br />3. Prepare a 9O% Review Submittal for review and approval by the County. The 90% submittal <br />will incorporate review comments and build upon the 30% submittal and will include, at a <br />minimum, the following (for plans that are common between Task 6A and Task 68, one <br />plan will be prepared for both tasks): <br />a. Plans <br />i. Survey Basemap <br />ii. TypicalSections <br />iii. Paving Plans and Details <br />iv. Site Preparation Plans <br />v. Site Restoration Plans <br />vi. Miscellaneous Details <br />vii. Traffic Control Plans <br />b. Specifications <br />c. Construction Cost Estimate <br />d. lnternal aA/aC review <br />4. Prepare a Pre-Bid Review Submittal for review and approval by the County. The Pre-Bid <br />submittalwill incorporate review comments and build upon the 90% submittal and will <br />include, at a minimum, the following (for plans that are common between Task 64 and <br />Task 68, one plan will be prepared for both tasks): <br />a. Plans <br />i. Survey Basemap <br />ii. TypicalSections <br />iii. Paving Plans and Details <br />iv. Site Preparation Plans <br />v. Site Restoration Plans <br />vi. Miscellaneous Details <br />vii.
