BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - <br />DESIGNATING KITTITAS COUNTY APPLICANT AGENT AND ALTERNATE <br />APPLICANT AGENT FOR FUTURE PRESIDENTIAL DISASTER DECLARATIONS <br />WHEREAS: Resolution No. 2018-123 designated Mark Cook, Public Works Director, as the <br />Applicant Agent and Liz Remeto, as Alternate Applicant Agent responding to <br />federally declared disasters impacting Kittitas County; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners desires having Mark Cook, Public Works <br />Director, continue being designated as the Applicant Agent on behalf of the <br />County and Joshua Fredrickson, County Engineer be designated as the new <br />Alternate Applicant Agent for said future Presidential Disaster Declarations; and <br />WHEREAS: These Representatives are authorized on behalf ofKittitas County to execute all <br />contracts, certify completion of projects, request payments, and prepare all <br />required documentation for funding requirements following a federally declared <br />disaster: and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does designate Mark Cook, Public Works Director, as the Applicant <br />Agent and Joshua Fredrickson as Alternate Applicant Agent representing the County in all future <br />Presidential Disaster Declarations. <br />DATED this 3rd day of November 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
