KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, WEBEX <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM October 12, 2020 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others: Dan Carlson and Jessica Miller Community Development <br />Services; Pat Nicholson, Fire Marshal; Mark Cook and Candie <br />Leader, Public Works; Benjamin West and Ken Grannan, Airport. <br />At 1:31 pm CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened the Community Development <br />Services Study Session. <br />Annual Docket Update <br />DIRECTOR CARLSON presented that the 11 docket items have been <br />drafted and uploaded to our website. The Planning Commission <br />will be conducting the public hearing on Tuesday, October 13 by <br />WebEx. The Planning Commissioners will be making a <br />recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners on the <br />docket items. The County Commissioner hearing is tentatively <br />planned for December 2 at 6 p.m. It will be requested at the <br />next Agenda Session to set the public hearing. Discussion - <br />None. <br />GIS Predictive Mapping Update <br />Director Carlson stated we are currently working with our GIS <br />Department and the Planning Commission on coming up with some <br />predictive modeling to advance our planning efforts going <br />forward. This will be an agenda item on the November Planning <br />Commission meeting. Discussion - COMMISSIONER WRIGHT stated that <br />there is a recent Planning Commission member vacancy for <br />District 1 and he will be reaching out for a representative to <br />fill the vacancy. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />There is no other business. <br />Meeting adjourned at 1:24 p.m. <br />2020-10-12 MINUTES 1 <br />
