KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: October 20, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to consider the <br />adoption of the Annual Construction Program for <br />2021 and the Six Year Transportation Improvement <br />Program for the Years 2021-2026. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works has prepared an Annual Construction <br />Program for 2021 and a Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Program for 2021-2026. <br />Due to the Governor's OPMA Prohibition, Public <br />Works solicited comments via Press Release on <br />September 15, 2020 with a presentation along with <br />comment form on the Public Works webpage. The <br />comment period ended on September 29, 2020 with <br />one comment received. Staff is proposing no <br />changes to staff's proposals based on public <br />comment that was received. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing on November 3, 2020 at 2pm <br />local time to consider adopting the Annual <br />Construction Program for 2021 and the Six Year <br />Transportation Program for the Years 2021-2026. <br />HANDLING: <br />Return one (1) original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing; Draft 2020 Annual <br />Construction Program; Draft Six Year <br />Transportation Improvement Plan. <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
