<br />independently of cornputing devices. Examples include rragnetic lape$, cplical discs (CDs or
<br />DVDs), flash ntenrory (thumlr drrve) devices, extenral hard drives, and internsl harcl drives that have
<br />been removed from a conrputirrg clevice.
<br />0, "Physic*lly Sesure" means tl'rat access is restricted thraugh physical means to authorizec
<br />individuals only.
<br />p. "Secure Area" nlearis an area io which nnly authorized r*presenlatives of the errtity possessing the
<br />Oonfidential lnformation have access, and accegs is controlled through use of a key, card key,
<br />combination lock, oreomparable mechanism. Secure Areas may inclucle buildings, rooms or
<br />locked storage containers (such as a filing cabinet or desk clrawer) within a ro0m, a$ long as acce$$
<br />to the Confidential lnformation is noiavailableto unautlrnrized personnel. ln other"ruise $ecure
<br />Areas, sttch as an office with re stricted access, the Data must be secured in such a way as to
<br />prevent acc*ss by non-ar.rthorized slaff such as janitorial or facility security siaff, when authorized
<br />Contr*ctor staff ate not present to snsurs that non-auihorleed staff cannot accoss it.
<br />q. "Sensitive Personnl lnformation" r'neans p*rsonally identifuing informalion including, but not linrited
<br />lo: nanles, addresses, heallh infornetion, GPS [Global Positiorring System] coordinates, telepharre
<br />nunber$, *mail addrestes, social security numbers, driver's license numbers, or other personally
<br />identifying infsrmation, and any financial identifiers.
<br />"Slaff' means the Contractor's directors, officers, empl*yees, ancl agenis who provicle gooels or
<br />services pursuant to this Contract. "$taff' also means $ubconiractore' directors, officers,
<br />employees, and agents i,vho provide goods or services on behalf of llre Contractor. The term "$taf{"
<br />also nreans the Subcontractors'directors, officers, employees, and agents who provi<ie gonds or
<br />services on behalf of the Subcontractcrr and Corllracior,
<br />s. Trustecl I'letwork" ntean$ a network operated anrj maintsined by the Conlractor, whieh includes
<br />securily controls sufficieni to ptotect DCYF Data on that network. Conlrolswould include a firewali
<br />betwee n any other networks, Bcce$s control lists qn networking devices such as routers and
<br />switches, and other such mechanisn':s which protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of
<br />the Data.
<br />t, "Uilique User lD" means a string of characters that identifies a specific u$er and which, in
<br />conjunclion with a password, passphrase or other mechanism, authenticate$ a user to an
<br />information system.
