When not in use forthe contracted purpo$e, such discs must be Slored in a $ecure Area. Workstation$ which access Data on opiical discs musi be loeated in an area which is accessible only to authorized personnel, with access controlled through use of a key, card key, combination lock, or comparable n:echanism. d, Optical discs {CDs or [VOs] in drives or jukeboxes attached to $ervers. Data providecl by DCYF on opiical discs which will be attached to netyrork server$ and whictr will not be iransported out of a Secur'e Area. Access to Data on tliese discs will be restrioted to Authorized Users through the Li$e of access control lists which will grant acce$s only afterthe Authorized User has authenticated to the networt using a Unique User lD and Hardened Password or other auihentication mechanisms which provide equal or greater security, sush as biomelrics or smafi cards.
